About Kathryn
Though most know Kathryn as one of the original "poster brides" of TwoBrides.com and as pioneer in the gay and lesbian wedding industry, she actually identifies most as an entrepreneur and educator.
Prior to joining her trailblazing straight mother in the business of helping couples to tie the knot, Kathryn engaged her undergraduate degree in Psychology (A.B., Princeton University) and a Masters in Social Work (MSW, Catholic University of America) to serve as a school counselor, coach and administrator in the Washington, D.C. area. She has also served as a caseworker in a homeless shelter for women and families and as a therapist at a school for emotionally disturbed children.
When she's not celebrating the unions of same sex couples and welcoming new allies into the celebration, she enjoys writing, cycling, and spending time with family and friends.
