Couples Giving Back: Samantha Frazee and Vanessa Connery
After meeting at Colorado State University in 1997, Samantha and Vanessa fell in love against the back drop of Oregon. Vanessa moved to Oregon for a job with the Bureau of Land Management, and Samantha went to visit for a week in July 2000. The two explored the state, hiking waterfalls, staying on the beach, and marveling at the lush landscape and beautiful coastlines. A magical week together convinced the couple that it was the real thing.
After seven years of adventures together, Samantha and Vanessa are planning a July 2007 celebration with their closest loved ones and friends in Denver. As part of their wedding, they have chosen to create an I Do Foundation Charity Registry in support of Accion International.
“We have been incredibly blessed by all of those who have supported us throughout the past seven years,” Samantha said. “We feel that we have all that we need, and would very much like to support an organization that makes it their mission to help others who have much greater needs.”
