I'm not really comfortable with this zip code search set up. How will people know to find me if they are traveling? I think it would be better for search criteria to be set by "state" like you used to have it.
We had a fantastic opportunity to develop a new directory with more features and broader reach for vendors thanks to the zip code / mile radius search. Though it has a different look & feel than some vendors are accustomed to, our Google Map integration and zip code search is actually commonly implemented in other industries. So, more users than you might expect understand how this works and appreciate its relevance to their location.
For your advertising dollar, you will also find that customers who cross state lines to find services will now have a better chance of finding you with an investment in only one listing, rather than an investment in listings in multiple states. This is especially true for vendors in a tri-state area. And, of course, the map integration offers a new level of visual assistance.

I can't find my listing!
There are several reasons this could be happening: you may have information in your listing which doesn't match your search terms (zip code and/or category); you may not have specified a relevant radius for your zip code; or, you may be looking in the wrong place (eg: in our sponsored search listings below the map rather than our vendor listings at left). Or, there may be some technical issues which are preventing your ad from displaying. Before contacting us, type in your company name into the search box in the site header to see if you get a result. If your ad doesn't appear and, if you have ruled out the first few possibilities listed and suspect that a technical issue is interfering with your listing display, please contact us.

How do I edit my ad?
Log into the site. You'll be directed to your ad page. Click on the "edit" tab and make adjustments as you see fit. Click 'submit' or, if you decide not to make a change, toggle back by clicking on 'view.'
If you have clicked away from your page and are still logged in, you may find that you are have difficulty getting back to your listing page. To find that page, you can either log out and log back in again or search for your listing via the search box (by company name) or via zip code on the Find Vendors page. Once at your page, if still logged in, you should be able to edit your ad.

You said that I can view my page statistics or views? How do I do that?
When logged in to the vendor account and on your ad page, click on the link under the "contact us" button, which says "My Stats." There, you'll see the number of times your page has been viewed and the number of times a visitor has clicked on your hyperlink. Please note: this benefit is only available at the Works! and Ultimate listing levels.

My vendor listing isn't showing up in the Google map at right. Why is that?
If you didn't add in your physical address, Google maps won't know where to place you. Log in to your account and add your address (or something close by) so that visitors can see your text box on the map.

I don't have a link in my ad? Will you add it?
A hyperlink is available for all paid listings. If you don't have a hyperlink, it's because you've selected the Basic package, a free listing, which is available for one year. If you'd like to add a hyperlink, please upgrade to a higher level package.

What is the "URL for your vendor page" section?
We have developed a robust vendor directory which allows you several ways to maximize your search position. We recommend you use strong, targeted keywords in your description, but you can also position yourself with keywords in your custom URL (which can easily be used to share your listing location with friends, clients or prospective clients). So, when it prompts you to customize your URL, don't add in "www" or "http://" (which will be counterproductive). Instead add in the key nouns or descriptors of your business (2-3) and separate each with a "-" (dash).

Why can't I log in to the shopping cart when I am purchasing or renewing a listing?
Your vendor login in information for our primary site -- GayWeddings.com (where your vendor directory is hosted) -- does not automatically convey to our store -- shop.gayweddings.com (where you purchase or renew a listing) -- unless you manually create an account using those same terms. You do not need to log in to the store to purchase or renew a listing. You do, however, need to log in to GayWeddings.com in order to sign up for, manage and edit your listing.

On the search results page, I see a message that says 3 of 11 listings found, but the numbers listed don't match the number of listings shown up on the page. What's going on?
This is a technical glitch recently discovered in our beta testing process. We are aware of the issue and are working to resolve it as quickly as possible.

I'm clicking on links but only see blank pages. What's wrong with the site?
Actually, it may be a compatibility issue with your browser. Have you upgraded your browser version? We know that IE 6.0 isn't working well. We've also found a few inconsistencies with Firefox. If you have done a recent upgrade and have restarted your browser and/or refreshed the page, please contact us with a description of what you are experiencing, the URL on which this is occurring, and what operating system and browser you are using.

I'm having a hard time renewing my listing. Help!
If you have received a message from us remind you to renew, you'll know that you need to go to the directory listing section of our boutique to submit your payment securely. Or, you can use this link to select your term and package level and renew your listing. All you need to do is follow the steps from there to submit payment; we will then contact you once we've received payment and updated your listing. Please note that you do not need to log in to the boutique when processing your renewal payment.
