A little about me:
I have been creating and making photographs since the age of 15 after taking a basic photography class. While I immediately realized this is what I wanted to do with my life, it took me some years to decide how to best use my photography skills. A couple of degrees later, I found myself leaning towards weddings, parties, events and ceremonies. I learned that capturing and creating memories of people celebrating their lives is exactly what I want to do.
By definition, taking a photograph is simply the process by which an image is produced by a camera and put on a photographic surface. While this is true, I prefer to think of it as making a tangible object that can be viewed and admired for years and even generations. I have been shooting weddings for over 10 years, so I decided to pursue my passion for photographing people and weddings and start a little business called Burning Bright Studios 2 years ago.
I have found that I really enjoy making photographs that are fresh and real and believe that my photojournalism background carries over into my work to create
that feeling. I love working with couples to create a positive connection before, during and after their ceremonies to make their day perfect and their photographs
come to life.

Burning Bright Studios was great! Kristy was so sweet. I got all the pictures/ moments of my wedding that I wanted. I definitely recommend using her for your wedding photographer.

I had such a great experience with Kristy. She was extremely professional. The still pictures she took were absolutely beautiful and the candid pictures captured all those moments that I would have forgotten. I love looking back and remembering the wonderful day I had. I am very satisfied with the work that she had done for me. I would recommend her to anyone that is getting married!
