I used to work at this hotel, so choosing it as a reception venue was a no-brainer for me, especially since they had recently gutted and refinished the majority of the hotel, including banquet rooms. The Inn was under new ownership at this time. In parts of the planning it was rather disappointing to me as they kept changing sales staff, so our plans kept getting shifted from person to person. When we finally got to the person who was working on our details, she is in only three days a week, so when trying to contact her, there was ALWAYS a lag in hearing a response from her. At the reception we were disappointed as we had specified certain things with the food and it was not followed. Also, we wanted free pop for the wedding party only and they ended up given free pop to everyone, and we foot the bill for this. Also, they gave out our room information (and a room key) to people who should not have gotten this information, which is absolutely unacceptable (if I had done this when I worked there, I would have gotten fired!). We are still working on figuring out a resolution to these issues at the reception. On a positive, the staff were all very friendly and accommodating.
