More Than Just A Photographer...
The only daughter of an Italian immigrant and Canadian soldier, Ambrosia was born and raised on the Canadian prairies. Brought up with strong European influences, she needed to be inventive in order to satisfy her diverse foreign tastes and interests. She has a strong musical background in piano and vocals, and enjoyed a very successful swimming and rowing career on the international and national stage until physical injuries forced her to explore her artistic talents and focus on academics.
Graduating at the top of her class, Ambrosia received $475,000 in university scholarships, and earned acceptance in to the Golden Key Society. She has studied literature, communications, and economics at the University of Saskatchewan, where she obtained her B.A. in Political Studies, specializing in International Affairs. Currently, Ambrosia is finishing a second degree Entrepreneurial Management at Royal Roads University before obtaining an MBA in International Business Management from the University of Ottawa.
Ambrosia has been heavily involved in the business community, first through Junior Achievement, and later on through her own initiative. As a student in the Company Program, Ambrosia received six awards, including Achiever of the Year, President of the Year, and Marketing Campaign of the Year. And made numerous strong business contacts. She is still involved in Junior Achievement as a business mentor.
Not solely a photographer, Ambrosia has had paintings on display at the Mendel Art Gallery in Saskatoon and the Art Gallery of Ontario in Toronto. Her short stories and poems have been published 172 times in 15 different languages, and she has competed at the national level in piano.
Ambrosia began photographing weddings at 14, as a favour for brides that enlisted her mother's expertise as a pastry chef for their wedding cakes, and after pursuing courses in photography, she officially launched Eventi Productions at age 17. She has travelled extensively throughout Canada, Europe and Asia, participating in business and photography training courses and conferences along the way.
Ambrosia frequently travels nationally and internationally, and is available throughout Canada and Europe for photographic assignments.
